BUTTE YOUTH ORCHESTRA

The Butte Youth Orchestra is conducted by Yoshie Muratani and meets for rehearsals weekly on Thursdays at Bidwell Presbyterian Church, 131 W. 1st Street, Downtown Chico, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

VISION

To provide young musicians the experience of achieving something which one person cannot create. By doing so students will learn not only lifelong enjoyment of music, but also lifelong skills of collaboration, responsibility, flexibility and creativity.

Butte Youth Orchestra was founded in 2009 as the MTAC Youth Orchestra under the direction of Dustin Breshears thanks to the generous donation from Walter and Dawn Kusumoto.
